Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Municipal Engineering Group Leader to provide project leadership across planning, design, and construction of municipal infrastructure including stormwater, green infrastructure, roads, water supply and sewage systems.

You will build and mentor regional teams and work closely with the Water Group leadership to drive growth and delivery. This leadership role emphasizes client relationship development, competitive proposals, risk management, and adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proven ability to build and lead a team.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing people and developing front-line leaders.
• Ability to support succession planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and direction for water projects.
• Develop client relationships to support business growth.
• Liaise with clients, senior leadership, and stakeholders.
• Lead project budget development and contract negotiations.
• Implement risk management strategies across projects.
• Mentor project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure safety, codes, and quality standards in design delivery.
• Support development and engagement of project teams.
