Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks a Senior Water Project Manager in Austin, TX to lead delivery of water and wastewater projects for municipal and private clients.

You will oversee planning, design, construction, and commissioning, mentoring engineers and designers while coordinating with market leaders to differentiate technical solutions. You will drive business development, build client relationships, and manage project teams across all phases, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• At least 8 years of direct project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proven experience planning and designing water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary project teams through all project phases.
• Develop and implement water market growth strategies and client relationships.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget to meet contract requirements.
• Support business development and pursuit of new projects.
