Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Florida PE license preferred or the ability to obtain Florida licensure through comity.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience, with significant water/wastewater/municipal infrastructure experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary projects from planning and design through bidding and construction.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, permitting requirements, and industry practices for water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Experience with water distribution, wastewater collection, pipelines, pump stations, storage facilities, reservoirs, treatment facilities.
• Experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, client expectations, and technical deliverables.
• Strong technical writing, presentation, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop project team members.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Experience with Autodesk or Bentley design platforms; AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects.
• Serve as Project Manager or Technical Lead on projects encompassing distribution, transmission, and treatment facilities.
• Develop and oversee reports, design calculations, cost estimates, schedules, and construction documents.
• Provide guidance and oversight to engineers, designers, and CAD technicians.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality with project managers and leadership.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and subconsultants.
• Lead civil design efforts including utility layouts, drainage, and constructability considerations.
• Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analyses and prepare design documentation.
• Support permitting, bidding, and construction-phase services; respond to RFIs and submittals.
• Participate in client meetings, proposals, and business development.
• Identify opportunities to grow water and wastewater practice.
