Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years relevant experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree with 10+ years relevant experience considered.
• Experience in public affairs, government relations or communications is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact with municipal, county and state officials.
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders across government and community.
• Coordinate with county emergency operations directors for regulatory compliance.
• Participate in emergency exercises and train for assigned storm roles.
• Lead economic development efforts and proposals to attract new business.
• Represent the company at local boards, organizations and events to raise the brand.
