Job summary

Stress Engineering Services Inc. seeks an Advanced Simulation Engineer to develop and validate complex FEA models across medical devices, consumer products, and oil & gas projects.

You will create simulations for structural, thermal, and multiphysics analyses, automate workflows in Python/ MATLAB, and contribute to proposals and technical reports for clients. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of modeling experience, strong scripting skills with Python or MATLAB, and familiarity with ASME BPVC, API

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years in advanced simulation, modeling and analysis roles.
• Experience with non-linear implicit/explicit FEA and complex contacts.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB scripting and subroutine development in Fortran/C.
• Knowledge of ASME BPVC, API 579 and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate finite element models for structural and multiphysics problems.
• Perform FEA for pressure vessels, piping, and consumer/medical products.
• Automate simulations and post-processing workflows.
• Prepare technical reports and client presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver modeling-driven solutions.
