Qualifications

• ABET-accredited university degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 4–8 years of industry experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 2–6 years with a master’s degree.
• Experience with FEMAP/NX NASTRAN, PATRAN/MSC NASTRAN, ANSYS, Abaqus.
• Strong technical writing, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• U.S. citizenship and a current Final Secret Clearance—or eligibility to obtain and maintain one.
• Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, the Huntsville, AL area.

Responsibilities

• Apply analytical methods, finite element models, simulations, and other engineering tools to develop models, perform structural and dynamic analyses, and correlate results.
• Partner closely with design and manufacturing teams to deliver high-performance structures that meet demanding requirements for performance, manufacturability, and schedule.
