Job summary

Rand Simulation is seeking an experienced FEA simulation specialist to join remotely from Colorado. You will lead simulations for clients, interpret results, and guide design decisions using ANSYS, including LS-Dyna and multibody dynamics.

You will collaborate with account managers to scope projects and expand business through technical leadership. Candidates should hold a Mechanical/Structural STEM degree with 4+ years in FEA, strong CAD skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in mechanical/structural engineering with FEA experience.
• Strong ANSYS Mechanical experience required; LS-Dyna and Multi-body dynamics highly desired.
• Proficiency in multiple FEA methods and fatigue analysis preferred.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills; travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead on consulting projects, run simulations, interpret results, and propose design modifications.
• Stay current with ANSYS platforms and expand tool knowledge through training.
• Collaborate with sales and BD teams to scope opportunities and provide technical guidance.
• Analyze customer needs and demonstrate suitable ANSYS simulation solutions.
• Deliver trainings and support to promote ROI of ANSYS technology.
