Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior FEA Engineer to act as a SME in advanced finite element analysis and mechanical design for a highly technical manufacturing environment. You will independently perform complex structural and thermal analyses, develop and troubleshoot models, interpret loading conditions, and provide engineering recommendations to optimize product performance.

The ideal candidate has a ME degree with 5+ years (or MS with 4+ years), deep FEA expertise, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's with 4+ years.
• Advanced expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Proficiency with Abaqus, SolidWorks Simulation, or similar software.
• Experience building, troubleshooting, and interpreting complex simulation models.
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 5-10%, including international travel.
• Experience elastomeric materials and heavy manufacturing sectors.
• Experience leading R&D, prototype design and testing, and customer-facing engagements.

Insight Global is seeking a Senior FEA (Finite Element Analysis) Engineer to serve as a subject matter expert in advanced finite element analysis (FEA) and mechanical design, supporting new and existing engineering projects within a highly technical manufacturing environment. This individual will independently perform complex structural and thermal analyses, develop and troubleshoot simulation models, interpret customer loading conditions, and provide engineering recommendations to optimize product performance. Responsibilities include serving as a technical lead for advanced analysis efforts, supporting new product and material development initiatives, leading prototype design and testing activities, interfacing directly with customers and certifying authorities, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader capable of translating complex engineering challenges into effective design and analysis solutions while collaborating closely with operations, manufacturing, quality, and project management teams. Annual compensation ranges from $110,000-$115,000 depending on level of experience.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience designing and analyzing elastomeric materials and components.
