Job summary

ASML US, LP. (US30) seeks a Senior Mechanical Analysis Engineer to apply advanced analytical methods to opto-mechanical systems across feasibility, design, integration, and troubleshooting. You will lead modeling efforts, mentor engineers, and drive credible, data-driven decisions.

You will use FEA, Multiphysics, and numerical tools to predict performance, correlate with test data, and communicate results to stakeholders. Strong leadership and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD strongly preferred in Mechanical/related field; bachelor with substantial experience considered.
• Minimum of five years in engineering analysis or computational mechanics.
• Expertise in finite element methods, solid mechanics, numerical methods, and physics-based problem solving.
• Advanced experience in linear or nonlinear structural analysis including contact, material, or geometric nonlinearities.
• Experience with high-precision equipment or complex products is preferred.
• Experience with ANSYS, Siemens NX/Simcenter, Abaqus, Nastran, and Python/MATLAB is ideal.
• Collaborative leadership through technical direction and mentoring across teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate system and module requirements into analysis objectives and verification strategies.
• Develop analytical, finite element, reduced-order, and system-level models to predict performance and optimize systems.
• Perform advanced linear and nonlinear structural, thermal, dynamic, vibration, fluid, or coupled-physics analyses.
• Verify and validate results with test data and benchmarks.
• Guide design choices by identifying performance drivers, risks, margins, and improvements.
• Resolve issues through physics-based root-cause analysis and modeling.
