ASML is seeking a Senior Mechanical Analysis Engineer in Wilton, CT to apply advanced analysis techniques to opto-mechanical and electro-mechanical systems. The role emphasizes rigorous modeling, verification, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to influence design decisions.

You will mentor engineers, build reusable methods, and advance ASML’s analysis capabilities while delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in engineering analysis or computational mechanics.
• Expertise in finite element methods and physics-based modeling.
• Experience verifying models with experimental data.
• Experience with high-precision or complex products preferred.
• Proficient with industry tools such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, NX/Simcenter, Nastran.

Responsabilités

• Translate system requirements into analysis objectives and verification strategies.
• Develop FE, reduced-order, and system-level models to predict performance.
• Perform linear and nonlinear structural, thermal, dynamic, and multiphysics analyses.
• Define modeling assumptions, boundaries, mesh strategies, and solver settings.
• Validate results with first-principles calculations and test correlations.
• Guide design concepts, risk assessment, and optimization through analysis.
