JTG inc. is seeking Senior Level Translators for multiple languages to work remotely. You will translate, transcribe, and summarize foreign language content into English, adhering to style guides and quality standards.

The role requires handling highly technical and nuanced material and using translation memories and glossaries to ensure consistency. The position demands ILR 4/4+ proficiency, advanced reading/listening skills, and familiarity with CAT tools.

Qualifications

• Pass translation performance test at ILR 4 to 4+.
• Advanced professional capability in reading/listening to foreign languages.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Internet.
• Experience with Human Language Technology (HLT) and CAT tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate translations, transcriptions, and summaries into English.
• Communicate fluently in English, orally and in writing.
• Follow designated style and quality standards.
• Translate diverse texts with challenging, abstract, and technical content.
• Post-edit machine translations for accuracy.
• Capture socio-economic nuances and use domain-specific terminology.
• Develop glossaries, style guides, and translation memories.
• Review the quality of other translators’ work.
