Job summary

Schochet is seeking an experienced Property Manager for King Pine Apartments, a 234-unit community in Orange, MA. You will lead daily operations, supervise staff, and maintain resident relations while ensuring compliance with Section 8 and LIHTC programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multifamily property management experience
• Strong knowledge of Section 8 and Tax Credit/LIHTC programs
• COS designation required
• ARM designation preferred
• Experience supervising and developing property-management staff
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of a 234-unit apartment community.
• Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate property-management staff.
• Build positive relationships with residents, vendors, employees, and the community.
• Address and resolve resident concerns and complaints.
• Oversee rent calculations, rent collection, delinquency notices, and legal actions when needed.
• Manage subsidy collections and related issues.
• Oversee annual and interim resident recertifications.
• Ensure compliance with Section 8, LIHTC/Tax Credit, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop and manage the annual property budget.
• Complete inspections, monthly reports, and other required property documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all certifications and compliance requirements are completed on time.
