Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the operations, finances, and administration of an assigned residential property. You will supervise on-site staff, manage vendors, and drive budgeted financial and occupancy targets while ensuring compliant, high-quality service to residents.

The role requires leadership, budgeting, and strong communication to develop leasing strategies, monitor performance, and deliver an excellent resident experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience in multifamily property management.
• At least two years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of lease agreements, rent collection, and lease enforcement procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Property Management software experience.
• Knowledge of real estate contracts, financial management, and operational compliance.
• Proficiency in social media platforms is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Must have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-service oriented with the ability to interact professionally with residents and vendors.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the property within approved financial guidelines and budget constraints.
• Analyze financial statements and reports to inform budgeting and performance forecasting.
• Maximize revenue by setting rent rates, collecting rent, and managing delinquencies.
• Supervise on-site staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA laws and regulations.
• Develop leasing and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and retention.
• Resolve service requests to promote resident satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct regular property inspections for safety and cleanliness.
• Review and manage service contracts and capital improvements.
• Coordinate property tours and communicate with owners/investors.
