Job summary

Housing Trust Group in Florida seeks a seasoned Property Manager to oversee multi-site operations, budgeting, maintenance, and tenant relations for assigned properties. You will lead staff, manage 24/7 emergency response, and ensure occupancy and compliance with rental agreements.

The role requires 5+ years in tax credit property management, a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), and knowledge of applicable laws.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
5+ years of tax credit property management experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple properties consistently at a high performance level.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws pertaining to property management and tenant rights.

Responsibilities

Perform QA inspections weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
Maintain building systems and supervise all repairs.
Manage day-to-day operations of multiple units, including 24/7 emergency response.
Assist Leasing Representative to maintain high occupancy and tenant retention.
Communicate effectively with tenants and during tenancy.
Read and interpret rental contracts and service agreements.
Administer collections and enforce rental terms.
Schedule and complete assigned projects and manage operating expenses.
