Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Multifamily Project Manager for a growing Tampa-area GC/developer serving Sarasota, Manatee and Polk counties. Based in the Florida market, you will lead complex multifamily construction from planning through execution.

You'll oversee project scope, budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and safety compliance while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful delivery and repeat opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, focused on multifamily projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record of managing construction projects start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, processes, and equipment.
• Familiar with construction laws and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills to lead a team.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities with stakeholders.
• Experience with construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage multifamily construction projects from inception to completion on time and within budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans detailing scope, goals, budget, and timeline.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors per plan.
• Review progress daily and adjust to ensure successful completion.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and provide updates.
• Ensure compliance with legal, building, and safety codes and regulations.
• Identify risks and propose proactive mitigation strategies.
• Foster relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors for future work.
