Job summary

Foresight Asset Management, LLC is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for a multifamily community in San Antonio, TX. You will supervise maintenance staff, lead turn‑key unit make‑readies, and oversee preventive maintenance, safety programs, and vendor coordination.

You will diagnose and repair a wide range of systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances) and maintain thorough records. A strong leader with great communication is essential for day‑to‑day operations and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or plus vocational training.
• HVAC certification (CFC/EPA universal) required; EPA certification required.
• CPO or other trade credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and inspect maintenance staff, in‑house and contracted.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and safety compliance.
• Respond to resident service requests and communicate with management.
• Lead unit make‑readies, repairs, paint, clean, and prepare vacant apartments.
• Diagnose, inspect, repair, or replace HVAC, plumbing, pool/spa, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Order supplies, manage inventory and budgets, and oversee tool shop organization.
• Coordinate bids, manage contracts, and interact with vendors for renovations and other repairs.
• Mentor and train maintenance technicians; promote safety culture.
• Maintain logs of maintenance activity, safety meetings, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in rotating on‑call schedule for emergencies.
