Qualifications

• Previous multifamily apartment maintenance experience required
• Senior-level maintenance experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of: General apartment maintenance
• Plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
• Electrical systems and lighting repairs
• Appliance repair
• Drywall, painting, and carpentry
• Preventative maintenance programs
• Unit turns and make-readies
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance equipment and materials as needed
• Candidates who have their own maintenance tools are strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair maintenance issues throughout the property
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents
• Complete apartment turns and make-ready projects
• Perform plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, drywall, and painting repairs
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, fixtures, cabinets, and other building components
• Inspect property grounds, common areas, and amenities to identify maintenance needs
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards
• Assist with special projects and property improvement initiatives
• Support the maintenance team in maintaining excellent curb appeal and resident satisfaction
