  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance equipment and materials as needed

Position Details

Location: Madison, WI 53703

Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Position Summary

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining apartment homes, common areas, building systems, and community amenities while ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and professionally.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can prioritize work orders, identify property needs, and ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair maintenance issues throughout the property
  • Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment
  • Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents
  • Complete apartment turns and make-ready projects

Qualifications

Previous multifamily apartment maintenance experience required

Senior-level maintenance experience preferred

Strong working knowledge of:

Work Attire Requirements

To maintain a professional appearance within the community, all maintenance personnel should report to work in:

  • Khaki pants or black work pants
  • Professional and clean work attire
  • Closed-toe work boots or work shoes appropriate for maintenance duties
