Job summary

Berger Communities is seeking a Divisional Sales Director to lead leasing strategy and drive sales performance across its division of multifamily communities. You will partner with Regional Managers, Community Managers, and onsite teams to identify opportunities, optimize occupancy, and implement data‑driven strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of conventional leasing experience across multiple communities.
• 2+ years in regional or multi-site leadership roles.
• Strong analytical skills to translate leasing data and market trends into strategy.
• Ability to partner with regional and community managers to improve occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor leasing performance, flow, traffic, conversion, occupancy, and exposure across the division.
• Identify underperforming communities and develop action plans to improve results.
• Recommend pricing, specials, and concessions based on market data and competitors.
• Coach leasing teams on sales, closing, objection handling, and lead follow-up.
• Collaborate with regional and community managers to boost occupancy and leasing results.
• Provide hands-on leasing support when needed and supervise the Floating Leasing Consultant.
