Job summary

Berger Communities seeks a divisional sales leader to drive leasing strategy and performance across communities. You will partner with regional and onsite teams to identify opportunities, improve occupancy, and support underperforming communities with targeted action plans. This role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaboration, and leadership across a Pittsburgh-based division with significant travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of conventional leasing experience, including at least 2 years in a multi-site or leasing leadership role.
• Strong multifamily sales leadership with data-driven decision making.
• Ability to translate leasing data and market trends into actionable strategies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor leasing performance, lead flow, traffic, conversion, occupancy, and exposure across the division.
• Identify underperforming communities and develop action plans to improve results.
• Recommend pricing, specials, and concessions based on market and competitor data.
• Partner with Regional and Community Managers to improve occupancy and leasing performance.
• Coach and develop leasing teams on sales, closing, objection handling, and lead follow-up.
• Supervise and deploy the Floating Leasing Consultant based on community needs.
• Audit lead management and closing performance and recommend improvements.
• Provide hands-on leasing support when needed.
• Recommend marketing, outreach, and social media strategies to increase traffic.
• Track divisional performance and provide leadership with leasing trends and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Fair Housing requirements.
