Vivmark Residential seeks a Senior Manager, Interior Architect to provide technical leadership for interior design across new development and capital improvement projects in our multifamily portfolio.

You will guide in-house projects and oversee external consultants, ensuring detailed, coordinated, and constructible design documentation that aligns with budget, schedule, and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of relevant professional experience in architecture, interior architecture, or interior design.
• Demonstrated experience leading projects through design development, construction documents, permitting, bidding, construction administration, and project closeout.
• Advanced knowledge of interior construction, detailing, materials, and construction methods.
• Strong understanding of building codes, ADA/accessibility requirements, life-safety considerations, and coordination of architectural interiors with MEP and other building systems.
• Extensive experience reviewing and producing construction documents, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and other construction administration documentation.
• Strong ability to review consultant documentation and identify coordination gaps, constructability issues, and field conflicts before impact.
• Experience with multifamily residential, hospitality, or high-quality residential environments preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Occasional travel within the US required.

Responsabilités

• Lead the technical development and execution of interior architecture for in-house designed new development and renovation projects across all design phases.
• Translate conceptual interior design direction into buildable design solutions with attention to details, transitions, millwork, ceilings, and custom elements.
• Lead development, review, and quality control of construction documents and specifications.
• Coordinate interior architecture with architectural, structural, MEP, lighting, low-voltage, signage, accessibility, and other consultants to resolve conflicts.
• Provide technical oversight during construction: review submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, mock-ups, field conditions, punch lists, substitutions.
• Participate in site visits and meetings to evaluate installation quality and reflect design intent.
• Mentor interior designers and strengthen documentation, construction, and project delivery knowledge.
• Serve as senior technical resource for design team, manage Revit and BIM strategy.
