Job summary

Vivmark Residential seeks a Senior Manager, Interior Architect to lead interior design development for new developments and capital improvements across the portfolio. You will ensure buildable, coordinated documentation aligned with budget and schedule, while guiding a team of designers and coordinating with consultants.

You will mentor staff, drive BIM strategy, and oversee construction administration using Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, and SketchUp. Occasional travel within the US is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 12-15 years of professional experience in architecture/interior design with complex interior projects.
• Experience leading projects through design development to closeout.
• Advanced knowledge of interior construction, detailing, materials, and methods.
• Strong understanding of building codes, ADA, life-safety, and MEP coordination.
• Experience producing construction documents, specs, shop drawings, RFIs, submittals.
• Ability to review consultant docs for coordination gaps and constructability issues.
• Experience in multifamily residential, hospitality, or high-quality residential environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical development and execution of interior architecture for in-house and external projects.
• Translate design concepts into buildable, well-detailed solutions with focus on details, transitions, and millwork.
• Lead development, review, and QC of construction documents and specs.
• Coordinate interior architecture with architects, MEP, lighting, and other consultants to resolve conflicts.
• Provide technical oversight during construction including submittals, RFIs, and field conditions.
• Participate in site visits and meetings to ensure design intent and documentation are reflected.
• Mentor interior designers and strengthen documentation and delivery capabilities.
• Serve as senior technical resource for BIM strategy and Revit workflows.
