Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Property Reserve, Salt Lake City, UT, seeks a Senior Development Manager, Multifamily to lead residential development from feasibility through stabilization. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in real estate, finance, business, construction management, engineering, architecture, urban planning, or related field.
MBA, MRED, MSRE or other related advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible commercial real estate development experience with significant exposure to multifamily/build-to-rent/residential projects.
Experience managing institutional-quality multifamily or build-to-rent projects across multiple jurisdictions preferred.
Strong understanding of residential development economics, real estate finance, capital markets, market analysis, financial modeling, investment underwriting, and development processes.
Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and execute profitable development opportunities.

Responsibilities

Define and implement the Company's residential development strategy, focusing on multifamily and build-to-rent opportunities.
Evaluate and pursue new residential development opportunities through market research, financial analysis, site feasibility, and due diligence.
Lead projects from acquisition through stabilization, maintaining accountability for budget, schedule, scope, and risk.
Coordinate land planning, architecture, engineering, permitting, entitlements, and approvals while managing risks.
Manage development partners, consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver on time and to quality.
Review budgets, change orders, schedules, and major project risks; prepare investment updates for executives and boards.
Monitor market trends and negotiate development agreements, consultant contracts, and related documents.
Support portfolio initiatives, reporting improvements, and development best practices.
Provide mentorship and leadership to the development team; handle other duties as assigned.
