Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., through its DHI Communities division, is seeking a Multifamily-Superintendent to deliver multifamily projects on time with top quality and attention to detail.

You will oversee trades, plan daily activities, enforce safety standards, manage punch lists, and maintain thorough project documentation while building strong rapport with subcontractors, homeowners, and local officials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in the construction field.
• Experience with large, multifamily and commercial building projects.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive among designated communities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project software.
• Ability to schedule multifamily projects using SureTrak/Project/Phoenix Project Manager or similar scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage day-to-day project activities to meet project schedule, quality, and budget objectives.
• Monitor project safety and enforce standards with onsite personnel.
• Prepare and submit RFIs to the project manager to resolve subcontractor questions.
• Document subcontractor back charges and ensure responsible parties pay.
• Approve subcontractors’ invoices and maintain project documentation.
