Job summary

DHI Communities, the multifamily division of D.R. Horton, is seeking a Multifamily Superintendent to lead on-site construction of large multifamily projects with a focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery.

You will coordinate trades, manage schedules and inspections, prepare documentation, and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, homeowners and city officials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10+ years of supervisory construction experience, large multifamily and commercial projects.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive among communities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
• Experience with SureTrak/Project/Phoenix Project Manager scheduling software.
• Proficient with DRH Construction applications on devices (phone/tablet/laptop).

Responsibilities

• Prepare site and arrange for temporary facilities.
• Conduct preconstruction meetings with critical trades.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage day-to-day project activities to meet schedule, quality, and budget objectives.
• Monitor project safety and enforce standards on site.
• Prepare and conduct subcontractor meetings; manage RFIs and invoices.
• Maintain project documentation (logs, safety meetings, sign-ins).
• Coordinate inspections with officials and ensure project sign-off.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

10+ years supervisory experience in construction

Valid driver’s license
