Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead the global WHS program implementation at our Dorado, PR site. You will combine hands-on safety management with strategic thinking to protect associates and support operational excellence.

You will conduct risk assessments, analyze safety data, lead audits, and manage the first aid and emergency response capabilities. You will travel 50-70% and partner with Operations leadership to embed safety into daily workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in safety, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in WHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• Experience in people and performance management, or Amazon Safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global WHS Program implementation and safety initiatives.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and analyze safety data to drive improvements.
• Manage audits, first aid program, and emergency response capabilities.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership to embed safety into daily work and drive culture.
• Travel 50–70% and influence across multiple sites.
