Job summary

Jefferson Health's Ambler-area practice seeks a Practice Manager II to direct daily physician practice operations across several locations. You will supervise staff, coordinate scheduling, and drive efficiency for 10–25 providers with emphasis on patient care and service quality.

The role emphasizes policy development, staff performance management, and collaboration with upper management to maintain effective operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of experience in a Physician Practice or healthcare setting.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of office calendaring software and basic desktop tools.
• Familiarity with customer support policies and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates daily activities of a physician practice.
• Supervises operations across multiple locations and 10–25 providers.
• Develops or updates office policies in coordination with upper management.
• Handles personnel issues including training, performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Participates in hiring decisions and performs annual staff evaluations.
