Job summary

Abington Memorial Hospital is seeking a Practice Manager II to direct, supervise and coordinate daily activities of a physician practice across multiple locations, typically 10–25 providers.

The role involves leading staff, developing policies with upper management, handling recruitment, performance reviews, and ensuring efficient patient care workflows. Two offices: Lower Gwynedd and Blue Bell; activities may include CPC and research as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of experience in a Physician Practice or Healthcare setting.
• Understanding of the necessity and value of teamwork and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of and ability to use office calendaring software and capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of the organization.
• Supervises Physician Practice operations to ensure prompt and courteous treatment of patients and other aspects of the Practice.
• Assists in developing policies and procedures with upper management to maintain effective and efficient operation.
• Manages personnel issues including new employee training, performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Interviews new employee prospects and participates in hiring decisions for designated office.
