Job summary

Jefferson Health in Ambler, PA seeks a Practice Manager II to direct, supervise, and coordinate daily physician practice activities across multiple locations. The role oversees 10–25 providers and supports complex operations, including research and resident activities.

Active collaboration with upper management to refine policies, manage staff performance, and ensure exceptional patient service. Day shift, healthcare leadership role within a major hospital system.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a Physician Practice or Healthcare setting.
• Understanding of teamwork value and ability to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of office calendaring software and general office tools.
• Knowledge of customer support policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Supervises Physician Practice operations to ensure prompt and courteous treatment of patients as well as other aspects of the Practice.
• Assists in developing policies and procedures in conjunction with upper management to maintain the effective and efficient operation of the Practice.
• Manages personnel issues including new employee training, performance management and disciplinary actions. Interviews new employee prospects and participates in hiring decisions for designated office.
• Performs annual written performance appraisals of support staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned
