Job summary

The Methodical Group seeks an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to lead the O&M of all contract facilities. You will supervise staff across locations, train teams, and ensure high-quality service delivery, with oversight of machinery, electrical and mechanical systems. Strong vendor relations and PM/PMM execution are essential.

Reports to General Manager and VP of Facilities Services; requires 5+ years in large building maintenance and excellent leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of recent experience managing building maintenance operations for multiple large facilities.
• Strong knowledge of large commercial facilities operations and maintenance.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, building automation systems and CMMS.
• Exceptional leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to General Manager and VP of Facilities Services.
• Lead operations and maintenance of all facilities within the contract.
• Manage assistant facilities manager, skilled trades, custodial, admin, and support staff across locations.
• Train, evaluate and guide personnel to achieve high performance.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of machinery and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans; propose predictive projects.
• Negotiate O&M contracts and manage vendor relationships.
