Job summary
Think Consulting in Gaithersburg, MD, is seeking a Sr. Multi-Cloud Systems Administrator to lead cloud governance and engineering across Azure and AWS in a remote-capable role with quarterly travel to Gaithersburg.
The ideal candidate will manage multi-cloud environments, automate deployments with IaC, enforce FinOps practices, and collaborate with DevSecOps teams while maintaining secure, compliant cloud resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; 4+ years in managing compute environments.
- Extensive experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Knowledge of cloud security, Azure Sentinel, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to automate infrastructure tasks and configurations.
- Strong independent work and communication with teams.
- Ability to obtain public trust clearance.
Responsibilities
- Manage multi-cloud environments and governance models.
- Deploy cloud resources with IaC and DevOps pipelines.
- Monitor FinOps dashboards and cloud costs.
- Ensure data streams integrity and performance.
- Implement network architectures and security in hybrid-cloud.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps teams and document systems.
- Identify cost-saving improvements and efficiencies.
- Participate in application development lifecycles as code.
