Job summary

Trimont LLC is seeking a Director, Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our DevOps and cloud engineering efforts within a rapidly expanding financial services environment. You will advance automation, cost management, and secure, scalable Azure platforms in partnership with engineering and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has deep cloud and DevOps expertise, strong collaboration skills, and a track record of delivering reliable, compliant infrastructure for regulated workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in DevOps, cloud automation, or infrastructure roles.
• Experience supporting financial services or other regulated industries.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps and cloud engineering initiatives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated testing; support governance for speed, control, and compliance.
• Lead architecture and operations of secure, scalable Azure cloud infra for financial workloads.
• Partner with security and risk teams to ensure regulatory and compliance alignment.
• Operate and optimize DevOps toolchain (GitHub, Jira); improve developer productivity through automation.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and incident response practices.
• Support FinOps practices; drive cost transparency and optimization.
• Coordinate cross-team release planning and execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party vendors to align priorities.
