Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer for Plano, TX with remote work options. The role combines solution architecture, API development, production operations, and DevOps oversight to sustain enterprise integrations.

Expect leadership across offshore teams and client resources with focus on API governance and deployment readiness. The ideal candidate has extensive MuleSoft and API security experience, strong CI/CD expertise, and a track record in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, developing, and supporting APIs and integrations (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, DataWeave 2.x, RAML/OpenAPI).
• 4+ years MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience including API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, CloudHub 2.0 and/or Runtime Fabric.
• 3+ years implementing CI/CD pipelines with Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• 3+ years production environment support: monitoring, performance tuning, and RCA.
• 3+ years implementing API security controls (OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, secrets management).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for MuleSoft development, architecture, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Lead architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support of MuleSoft APIs and integration services.
• Own production stability and participate in Sev1/Sev2 incidents with RCA and corrective actions.
• Establish standards for logging, monitoring, alerting, security, and deployment governance.
• Develop runbooks, API catalogs, architecture diagrams, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Drive API governance and reusable integration patterns; report status to executives.
