Job summary

CNO Financial Group is seeking a Sr. Solution Architect to design and deliver architectures for applications and integrations.

This role partners with business and delivery teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions and provides technical leadership across the portfolio. The position supports flexible work environments, with remote options for US-based EST/CST locations and occasional travel to corporate offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Five to seven years of related technical experience with increasing responsibility.
• Experience with architecture across API integrations, cloud/hybrid platforms, and enterprise apps.
• Prior experience with Agile Release Trains or large cross-functional delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide logical solution architecture for applications, integrations, and components to deliver projects and meet business goals.
• Design solutions across a broad application landscape based on business requirements.
• Provide technical oversight for projects, reviewing designs and coordinating across teams.
• Partner with business and delivery stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to architecture standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT disciplines to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop high-level estimates for complex initiatives, including evolving requirements.
• Prototype and evaluate new technologies to inform architectural decisions.
• Produce high-quality architecture designs and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
