Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership for API development, production support, and integration services in Plano, TX. The role combines architecture, governance, and DevOps oversight for enterprise integrations.

Remote work is available with occasional travel to client sites. You will own API availability, drive CI/CD improvements, and mentor MuleSoft developers and offshore teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, developing, and supporting APIs and integrations.
• 4+ years MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience.
• 3+ years CI/CD tooling (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• 3+ years production environment support including incident management and RCA.
• 3+ years implementing API security controls (OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership for MuleSoft development, architecture, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Lead MuleSoft developers, offshore teams, vendors, and client tech resources.
• Own API architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support of APIs and integration services.
• Own production stability, participate in Sev1/Sev2 incident response, drive RCA and permanent fixes.
• Review and optimize APIs, CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and deployment processes.
• Establish standards for logging, monitoring, security, and deployment governance.
• Perform architecture, design, code, and release readiness reviews.
• Develop runbooks, API catalogs, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Drive API governance, technical debt reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Provide executive-status on risks and remediation plans.
