Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a senior MuleSoft architect to lead enterprise integration initiatives in a remote US-based capacity. You will architect scalable MuleSoft solutions, drive API-led connectivity, and collaborate across teams to set technical governance and standards.

Candidates should have 8+ years in integration, 5+ years delivering MuleSoft at scale, and deep knowledge of API security and cloud integration patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of enterprise integration experience.
• 5+ years architecting and delivering MuleSoft solutions at scale.
• Experience designing enterprise integration strategies with API-led connectivity, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
• Deep expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Manager, CloudHub 2.0, Runtime Fabric, Anypoint MQ, Exchange, API Governance).
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration patterns, microservices, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, RAML specs, reusable services, and data integration frameworks.
• Experience leading architecture reviews, governance, and influencing technology strategy across teams.
• Knowledge of security architecture, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, API security, and identity management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and observability/monitoring tools.
