Job summary
Koniag Government Services is seeking a Senior MuleSoft API Engineer to support CRM, Integration, and Platform Services. The role focuses on API-led connectivity, system integration, and secure enterprise interoperability, delivering complex configuration, development, and sustainment with minimal oversight.
Will work with stakeholders across cybersecurity, data, and operations to translate requirements into mission-aligned platform capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of senior platform engineering or application development experience.
- Hands-on MuleSoft implementation, configuration, development, integration, testing, or operations.
- Experience with Agile delivery teams and translating stakeholder needs into technical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, develop, integrate, test, document, and sustain MuleSoft capabilities using Anypoint Platform, API Manager, Runtime Manager, CloudHub, Mule 4, DataWeave, REST/SOAP APIs, connectors, policies, and CI/CD automation.
- Develop API-led integration layers, reusable services, DataWeave transformations, runtime policies, and secure connectivity between enterprise systems.
- Translate business and security requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Support platform architecture, backlog refinement, planning, release readiness, and production transition activities.
- Create reusable patterns, documentation, and runbooks to reduce delivery risk.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across configuration, code, data, APIs, identity, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, data, infrastructure, QA, and operations teams to align delivery with federal expectations.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and implementation notes.
