Job summary

Koniag Government Services is seeking a Mid-Level MuleSoft Integration Developer for a remote role focused on API-led connectivity, system integration, and reusable services. You will develop, test, configure, and support platform capabilities under guidance from senior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver mission-aligned digital solutions.

This position requires hands-on MuleSoft experience, a related bachelor's degree or equivalent, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on platform development or integration experience.
• Hands-on MuleSoft implementation, configuration, development, integration, testing, or operations.
• Experience with Agile delivery teams and translating stakeholder needs into maintainable technical outcomes.
• MuleSoft Certification or API/integration certification (or comparable).
• Experience supporting federal government IT environments, Public Trust programs, or regulated delivery.
• Experience with Section 508, cybersecurity, auditability, data protection, and operational documentation expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, integrate, test, document, and sustain MuleSoft capabilities using Anypoint Platform.
• Develop API-led integration layers, reusable services, and secure connectivity between enterprise systems.
• Translate business and security requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Support platform architecture, backlog refinement, implementation planning, and production transition activities.
• Develop reusable patterns, configuration standards, automation, documentation, and runbooks.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across configuration, code, data, APIs, identity, security, performance, and user experience.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, data, infrastructure, QA, and change management teams.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and implementation notes.
