Job summary

Millennium Communications in Albuquerque is seeking an experienced IT support professional to design and manage client network environments. The role focuses on multi-building campus deployments, LAN/WAN connectivity, routing, switching, and security across vendor environments.

Applicants should have 5+ years in IT support, MSP background, and strong Windows Server/AD skills. Certification or equivalent practical experience is required; travel to client sites is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

At least five years of IT support experience.
Two or more years in a MSP or multi-client environment preferred.
Proven hands-on networking across routing, switching, firewalls, and troubleshooting in mixed-vendor environments.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and implement client network environments including multi-building campus deployments.
Troubleshoot and support LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs.
Own patching and firmware upgrade strategy; validate outsourced NOC work as needed.
Build and maintain backup approaches for servers and network configurations (e.g., Datto BCDR).
Design and deliver projects to improve clients' technical environments.
Collaborate to scope hardware/software needs and deliver solutions.
