AbbVie is seeking an MSL/Senior MSL in Oncology (Multiple Myeloma) for the South Atlantic region. This field-based role supports healthcare professionals with scientific information across the product lifecycle and builds external collaborations.

Travel up to 75% is required, and the candidate may reside within the territory (with Kentucky included). The position demands an advanced degree and several years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel, Word and

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (i.e., Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD, APP (i.e.: Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner) in a relevant scientific discipline. Doctorate strongly preferred in a health science or clinical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain professional relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and researchers in assigned therapeutic areas.
• Present scientific information and education relative to disease state, therapeutic landscape, and AbbVie products to healthcare professionals.
• Support research initiatives as requested by AbbVie R&D, Clinical Operations, and Medical Affairs, including investigator meetings and external collaborations.
• Prepares marketplace in new therapeutic areas of interest, including creating awareness and relationships for AbbVie in the Medical community.
• Creates and collaborates in relationships with internal cross-functional partnerships and supports account plans with commercial teams.
• Serve as a medical/scientific resource to healthcare providers by answering unsolicited medical questions.
