Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, APP).
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for a Senior MSL.
• Typically requires a minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience for an MSL.
• Must translate territory needs to support internal and external customers and achieve objectives.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; excellent written/verbal communication.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, teaching skills; ability to work independently and in a team; strong planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain professional relationships with thought leaders and researchers in assigned therapeutic areas.
• Present scientific information and education related to disease state and AbbVie products to healthcare professionals.
• Support research initiatives by collaborating with R&D, Clinical Operations, and Medical Affairs; assist in site evaluation and investigator meetings.
• Develop awareness and relationships for AbbVie in new therapeutic areas of interest.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and commercial partners to develop and execute account plans.
