Job summary

AbbVie seeks a highly experienced MSL/Senior MSL in Oncology (Multiple Myeloma) for the Mississippi Valley region. This field-based role supports research and business objectives, delivering medical information to healthcare professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Flexibility to travel up to 75% is required. The candidate will be a peer scientific expert, develop relationships with thought leaders, and support AbbVie initiatives across the product lifecycle while ensuring

Qualifications

Advanced degree required in a relevant scientific discipline.
Typically requires 3+ years of experience for Senior MSL; 0–2 years for MSL.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related software; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop professional relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and researchers to ensure access to current medical information.
Present scientific information about disease states and AbbVie products to healthcare professionals across the lifecycle.
Support research initiatives, site evaluation, investigator meetings, and external collaborations as requested by AbbVie departments.
Create awareness and relationships for AbbVie in the medical community within the territory.
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners and commercial teams to execute account plans in line with business objectives.
