Job summary

Sobi is seeking a Medical Science Liaison in the Northern California territory (Nevada, Arizona, and Northern California area focus) to exchange scientific information with healthcare professionals. The role emphasizes field-based engagement, site initiation visits, advisory boards, and cross-functional collaboration within a regulated biopharmaceutical environment.

The MSL will cover the Northern California hematology portfolio, travel frequently (60%+), and require an accredited life-science

Qualifications

• Pharmacology/biomedical science background required or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of MSL experience in hematology/oncology and rare disease.
• Familiarity with the Northern California medical/scientific community and key institutions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate strategy.
• Experience leading or influencing cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary field-based contact for Sobi Medical Affairs in the Northern California territory.
• Engage key thought leaders and HCPs to exchange scientific information accurately and fairly.
• Report field intelligence including competitive insights and treatment landscape perspectives.
• Support clinical development teams through site initiation visits and accrual activities.
• Lead or participate in advisory board meetings at local, regional, and national levels.
• Deliver internal and external training on preclinical science, clinical data, and outcomes.
