Vertex seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a scientific bridge to the medical and academic community in the United States. The MSL will establish relationships with Health Care Providers/Professionals and help disseminate clinical data about Vertex compounds in a timely, ethical, and stakeholder-focused manner.

With guidance, the MSL will shape the medical plan by gathering external insights, executing Medical Affairs strategies, and addressing scientific inquiries.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical life sciences degree required, with preference for terminal biomedical degree.
• 1–2 years of MSL or equivalent medical affairs experience in pharma/biotech.
• Strong ability to translate medical data to diverse external audiences.

Responsabilités

• Develop trusted relationships with predefined medical and scientific Thought Leaders and HCPs.
• Apply Scientific Engagement Model principles to enhance interaction quality.
• Incorporate medical plan priorities into interactions and capture feedback in CRM.
• Use CRM analytics to document activities and inform medical strategy.
• Present clinical and scientific information credibly across disease states and Vertex products.
