Job summary

Zevra Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior MSL to join the U.S. Medical Affairs team and support the Central U.S. territory with rare disease science and engagement.

The Senior MSL will build trusted relationships with KOLs, HCPs, researchers, and other decision-makers, delivering balanced, evidence-based discussions and contributing to evidence generation and clinical initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD/PharmD/DNP or equivalent degree preferred.
• 5+ years of MSL or closely related Medical Affairs experience.
• Rare disease experience required.
• Must reside within Central U.S. territory and travel 60–75%.
• Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scientific resource to KOLs, HCPs, researchers, and other stakeholders in the Central U.S. territory.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships to support scientific exchange and collaboration.
• Provide accurate, balanced, evidence-based medical information on relevant diseases and Zevra's portfolio.
• Maintain knowledge of disease states, data, and competitive landscape.
• Represent Zevra at scientific congresses, meetings, and advisory boards.
• Document HCP interactions and insights in Veeva CRM; collaborate with internal teams.
