Job summary

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to serve as a field-based scientific expert and strategic bridge to community-based care settings.

You will build peer-to-peer relationships, deliver balanced information on RNAi therapies, and collaborate with Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Market Access teams to inform clinical practice and patient care. This role requires up to 60–70% travel and residence within the territory.

Qualifications

• PharmD, PhD, MD or DO in a life science field; pharma/biotech fellowship preferred.
• 1-3 years of MSL experience in the pharma/biotech industry.
• Strong ability to evaluate and communicate complex clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate long-term relationships with EOLs, thought leaders, and HCPs within a defined territory.
• Deliver accurate, balanced, and scientifically rigorous information on Alnylam therapies and outcomes data.
• Support medical education initiatives, advisory boards, and speaker programs for community providers.
• Gather, synthesize, and communicate field insights to internal stakeholders (Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access).
• Represent Alnylam at national, regional, and local conferences and meetings.
