Job summary

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Manager, Medical Science Liaison for the Pacific West region (CA, WA, OR, HI, AK, ID, NV, UT, MT). This field-based MSL role focuses on community care and peer-to-peer scientific exchange with emerging leaders, HCPs, and local health systems.

You will deliver balanced, evidence-based information on Alnylam therapies, support medical education programs, and collaborate with Medical Affairs and other teams to align scientific strategy.

Qualifications

• PharmD/PhD/MD/DO in a life sciences discipline; pharma/biotech fellowship preferred.
• 1–3 years’ MSL experience in pharma/biotech.
• Ability to evaluate and communicate complex clinical data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; credible peer-to-peer dialogue.
• Willingness to travel 60–70% within territory; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate relationships with EOLs, thought leaders, and HCPs in community and health system settings.
• Deliver balanced, scientifically rigorous information via peer-to-peer exchanges.
• Engage clinicians in community practice with evidence-based dialogue on diagnostics and treatments.
• Support medical education, advisory boards, and clinical research activities.
