Alnylam Pharmaceuticals seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a field-based scientific expert and strategic bridge between Alnylam and external medical communities. You will build peer-to-peer relationships with EOLs, HCPs, and health systems to advance evidence-based exchange and drive patient outcomes.

The role requires 1–3 years of MSL experience in pharma/biotech, a PharmD/PhD/MD/DO, and travel up to 60–70% within the territory.

Qualifikationen

• PharmD/PhD/MD/DO in life sciences required, pharma/biotech fellowship preferred.
• 1–3 years MSL experience in pharma/biotech.
• Strong ability to evaluate and communicate complex clinical data.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; credible in peer dialogue.

Aufgaben

• Identify and cultivate relationships with EOLs, thought leaders and HCPs in the territory.
• Deliver accurate, balanced information on Alnylam therapies through scientific exchange.
• Engage community practice HCPs in evidence-based dialogue using clinical data.
• Support medical education initiatives, advisory boards, speaker programs, and research.
• Gather and communicate field insights to Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests within 2 business days.
• Collaborate across Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, and Strategic Account Management.
• Represent Alnylam at national, regional and local medical conferences and meetings.
• Maintain current knowledge of disease areas, data, and competitive landscape.
• Ensure activities comply with regulations, policies, and PhRMA guidelines.
• Develop strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration skills for field responsibilities.
