Job summary

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to serve as a scientific bridge between Alnylam and community-based care settings in Hawaii. The MSL will build peer relationships with EOLs, HCPs, and regional health systems to advance evidence-based exchange and patient outcomes, with significant field activity.

You will deliver balanced data on Alnylam therapies, support medical education programs, and collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs and Commercial teams

Qualifications

• Scientific acumen with ability to critically evaluate and communicate complex clinical data.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills for peer-to-peer dialogue.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and digital engagement platforms.
• Ability to travel up to 60-70% within assigned territory; must reside within territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and cultivate long-term relationships with EOLs, thought leaders, and HCPs.
• Deliver accurate, balanced, and scientifically rigorous information on Alnylam's therapies.
• Engage HCPs in community practice settings with evidence-based dialogue using clinical data.
• Support medical education initiatives, advisory boards, and clinical research activities.
• Gather and communicate medical insights from the field to internal stakeholders.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests within 2 business days.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align on scientific strategy and messaging.
• Represent Alnylam at national, regional, and local medical conferences and meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of disease areas, data, and evolving evidence.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
