Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison specialized in cardiovascular metabolic diseases to support Central Pennsylvania. This field-based role engages cardiometabolic leaders and health‑care decision-makers to disseminate robust data and value evidence.

You will educate payers, providers, and partners on clinical and economic data, and help implement local engagement plans. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are involved as part of Amgen's flexible work model.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience
• OR Master’s degree and 6 years of Medical Affairs experience
• OR Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Medical Affairs experience

Responsibilities

• Engage with cardiometabolic leaders and healthcare decision-makers to share and advance scientific data
• Educate and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and payer data to payers, providers, and partners
• Provide clinical and economic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees; may be main medical contact at accounts
• Respond to unsolicited inquiries consistent with MSL compliance standards
• Share field observations and insights with internal teams and leadership
• Develop and implement local medical engagement plans aligned with goals and SEP
• Support speaker training and ensure updates on new data
• Contribute to Amgen-sponsored research and investigator-led studies
